Mommy offered Katy some of her advice, as well, but to no avail.
Even though Daddy struck out and Katy was skunked on her first fishing trip, Mommy caught about two dozen fish. There was a large puddle full of small fish and, knowing that a few days of no rain would leave these little fishies high and dry, Mommy used a bucket to catch and release some into the pond.
Daddy said that this method was cool but didn't count as fishing. Whatever.
