Daddy thought it would be super cute to take her to a real barber shop. Before our trip, I spent lots of time explaining to Katy what was going to happen at the barber shop. I told her that if she was really good she'd get CANDY!
We were so excited and happy when we arrived! I asked Katy what we were going to do at the barber shop and she said, "Candy!" Close enough.
Then, our fun trip took an upsetting detour. Suddenly, Katy not only LOOKED like Animal from the Muppets, but ACTED like him too.
Poor Mommy already looks worn out!
Fortunately, just like in real life, most big problems can be solved with a little bit of candy.
Sadly, even sucker number two couldn't turn that frown upside down.
Mommy took a moment to check out Katy's new 'do. Meanwhile, if looks could kill, Daddy, our ace photographer, would be dead right now.
WHEW! Everyone can breathe a big ol' sigh of relief. That is, until the next time Katy's hair needs a trim.
We're pretty sure that, no matter when that is, the good folks at Martin's Barber Style Shop will be closed.
